The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing direct patient care and developing and implementing individualized treatment programs based on each patient's needs, goals, and condition.
In this role, you will:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans.
Provide direct therapy in accordance with established clinical standards and best practices.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, strategies, and recommendations.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Contribute to the continued growth and development of speech therapy services.
Remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the hospital and the patients we serve.
Education & Licensure
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current SLP license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification required.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or as required by state regulations.
