Responsibilities

The Lead Coordinator of Inpatient Admissions is a key role within the organization, focusing on managing referral processes, pre-admission workflows, and admission procedures while supporting departmental objectives related to volume growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The role acts as a lead in inpatient service coordination, ensuring efficient processes, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance. Additional duties assigned as needed at the discretion of the Director.

Qualifications

  • Education and Training:   High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Business or technical school training is preferred.   
  • 5–10 years of experience in Admissions Intake and Authorization Processes, preferably within a high-volume Outpatient Therapy setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex workflows, verifying insurance, securing authorizations, and ensuring timely patient onboarding.
