The Corporate Manager of Reimbursement reports to the VP of Reimbursement. The role will be responsible for the preparation and timely submission of all regulatory reports as assigned. The position will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting compliance with various Medicare regulations.
Position Responsibilities
· Responsible for the preparation and completion of annual Medicare cost reports and state special reports.
· Provides internal support for review of audits of the annual cost reports.
· Performs reimbursement analysis associated with regulatory compliance (i.e., LTCH ALOS, HCO Review).
· Responsible for the preparation and submission of the data for the annual Medicare 60% compliance for rehabilitation facilities.
· Accumulates data associated with DSH/LIP for all rehabilitation hospitals.
· Reviews patient accounts for compliance with CMS Medicare Bad Debt write-off regulations.
· Maintains current knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Education and Training:
· Bachelor ‘s degree in Accounting, Business or Healthcare Management. CPA or MBA preferred.
Experience:
· At least 4 years’ experience in a position requiring cost report preparation and reimbursement analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong analytical skills required, including knowledge of patient management information systems, proficient skills in Excel.
· Excellent communication skills.
