The responsibilities of the Mobile Assessor Clinician are to provide mental health assessments for contracted facilities. This position will assist the support functions of the Mobile Assessment Department. The essential functions of this position are those tasks, duties, and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives. Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. Performs other related duties as assigned. The Mobile Assessor Clinician reports and is accountable to the Director of Mobile Assesors.
Education and Training: Must have a current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required. Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Experience: Experience in a behavioral health hospital, or Community Mental Health Authority in conducting Mental Health Assessments. Previous community assessment or mobile assessment experience preferred.
