We are looking for a Brain Injury Program Manager to join our team and care for our diverse patient population.

This is a supervisory position focusing on supervising the direct care staff. This position also requires participating in direct care services with brain injured clients in physical restoration, cognitive restoration, behavioral difficulties, nursing needs, and recreational needs as well as other activities of daily living.
• Supervises direct care staff, and students according to the professional code of ethics, law, and hospital policies.
• Demonstrates competency in the implementation of Treatment Plan through achievement of treatment objectives.
• Demonstrates competency by coordinating with the clinical team resource in all matters relating to clients behavioral development.
• Helps establish and monitor individual behavioral programs for clients enrolled in Brain Injury and Supported Living programs.
• Has assumed and is proficient in three selected area of responsibility.
• Participates in inservice educational activities and departmental meetings.
• Completes accurate records to insure correct documentation in an appropriate time frame as specified in the GWSRH P&P manual.
• Communicates and discusses objective information client needs and progress with team members, Case Manager, and families.
• Participates as member of Quality Assurance and Case Record Review committees as requested.
• Provides appropriate age related interactions with the clients of the Springs.
• Implements Policy and Procedure of PAM Health. Also recommends changes in Policy and Procedure as necessary.
• Act as a Liaison with the clinical staff and direct care.
Education and Training: BA/BS in Rehabilitation or other human services. Prefer interest in neurologic rehabilitation.
Experience: 2 years experience may be substituted per year of college.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• May work with various hand tools including drills, saws, hammer, and electric sander.
• Will at times need to use tape measures and other measuring tools.
• May be requested to operate other equipment and/or perform duties not related to position (i.e. operate motor vehicle for client transport) at the discretion of director.
Must possess strong professional leadership communication and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Must be available on weekends to take calls if needed by staff. Comfortable navigating disruptive behavior with brain injury patients (not a requirement as we can teach and coach)
