Responsibilities

The Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Qualifications

Education and Training: High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). C.T. Tech certified preferred but training can be provided.

 

Experience:  Will be determined on an individual basis but two(2) years’ experience preferred.

  • Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.
  • Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge.
  • Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Able to perform well independently.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions.
  • Exact and precise.
  • Highly self-motivated.
