Maintains general ledger for assigned facilities. Assists with preparation of financial statements and reports. Handles special projects for the Accounting Department. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is an exempt position.
Accounting and General Ledger Responsibilities
Education and Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1-3 years in an accounting-related position, with experience in financial accounting and general ledger.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Working knowledge and competency in use of software packages (e.g., Excel and Word) and computer networks.
• Good oral/written skills to facilitate communication between Accounting Department and others.
