The Corporate Director of Procurement directs the procurement and purchasing operations to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Assists the Vice President of Procurement in analyzing and developing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Collaborates with other departments to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Designs processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Incorporates auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping are accurate and comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Reports to the Vice President of Procurement. 50%+ Travel.
I. Position Responsibilities
· Responsible for leading a team that coordinates the purchase and distribution of procured supplies and equipment throughout the PAM Health supply chain.
· Manages ongoing administrative aspects of vendor relationships/service providers including service level agreements, performance penalties, performance tracking, termination notification and conditions.
· Ensures team is knowledgeable of all rules and regulations governing each purchasing process utilized by PAM Health.
· Oversees the contracting process, including participating in negotiations, and ensures PAM Health standards are implemented into each vendor contract including ensuring appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs), penalties, tracking, and reporting mechanisms are contractually guaranteed.
· Collaborates with leadership in procurement, operations, finance, and other departments to drive improvement in supply chain management processes within area of responsibility and across PAM Health system.
· Works cooperatively with executive, clinical, and operational teams.

Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain required.
· Healthcare experience preferred.
